Starting August 6 and 20, the Bay Shore Church Knitting Group will meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Concert Hall. The group knits and crochets various items such as lap robes, baby blankets, prayer shawls, booties, scarves, and hats. Some members who are unable to come to the group, knit and crochet their projects at home.

The members help one another pick knitting projects and encourage one another to complete their projects. The knitting group gives their clothing items to the Christmas families, Women to Women, and COA. This dynamic group of enthusiastic knitters has made the beautiful blankets below and welcomes all levels of knitters and crocheters.
