Memorial Service for Al Sykes
Al Sykes died peacefully at home on August 23 after two bouts with cancer this year. His memorial service will be at church on Saturday, August 30 at 1:00 p.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made either to Bay Shore Church, or Memorial Hospice Program. Al was a successful businessman with holdings in several states. He is survived by his wife Marilynn, daughters Janet and Susan, and three grandchildren. The Sykes have been church members since 1997.
