Ten bridesmaids (a big wedding party!) went to meet the groom.  Five were ready, five were not.  What does this ancient Palestinian wedding custom say to us today?  That we ought to have big weddings, or that we
need to be prepared?  That was Jesus’ warning.  Prepared for what?

Carolyn has been a Bay Shore Church member for 12 years and has lived in Long Beach 15 years.  Her favorite church involvements are Shepherd’s Staff, Fellowship Club, ushering, and Charlie’s sermons.  Michael Remley is Carolyn’s husband, and she is the Vice President of Pediatric Nursing and Patient Services at Miller Children’s Hospital.  Carolyn enjoys traveling, entertaining, crossword puzzles, and spoiling her three perfect grandchildren!
