Girl Scouts Receive Gold Awards

Four senior Girl Scouts received their Gold Awards on June 1.  They were Sierra Caley, Laura Fricke, Julia Light and Taylor Tschudin.  The equivalent of Boy Scout’s Eagle award, each girl had a project to design and complete.  Sierra’s was building a house in Tijuana over Easter break; Laura’s was cataloging books in the church library; Julia’s was habitat restoration at Forrestal Canyon Nature Preserve in Rancho Palos Verdes; and Taylor’s was planting oak trees at Pilgrim Pines Camp.  Congratulations, girls!
